Attaching files from Slack to a Workast task can enhance your task management and collaboration. Follow these steps to easily attach a file from a Slack message to a Workast task:
Navigate to the Slack message that contains the file or content you want to attach. Move your mouse over the message to reveal additional options, then click on the ellipses (three dots) that appear in the upper-right corner of the message.
From the dropdown menu, select the option "Attach to a task."
A dialogue box will pop up, prompting you to select or type the task to which you want to attach the file.
Optionally, add a comment related to the attachment to provide additional context.
Click on the "Attach" button to complete the process. If the Slack message contains more than one file or link, each item will appear as a separate attachment in the Workast task.
