I’ve worked with countless automation tools, and if you’ve used any, I’m sure you’ve felt this too – they always do about 80% of what you need. But that final 20%? You’re left tweaking, compromising, or doing it manually because it just won’t work exactly how you want.

You can start with simple things like:
Automatically assign tasks based on the summary or description.
Create a list of subtasks when a specific tag is added.
But the real fun comes when you start doing more complex things, like:
When a task has the word ‘design’ assign it to X and send Y an email notification about that task.
When a task hasn’t been updated in 7 days, send an email to the assignee.
Even get some ideas for social media content: when a task mentions ‘post’, add a comment suggesting three innovative post ideas on productivity, teamwork, or task management’.
The AI can handle workflows as simple or complex as you need, with complete flexibility. We’ve made it so you can automate almost anything you’d manually do in Workast—without the usual friction of setting up rigid automation rules, making automation feel less like a chore and more like an assistant.
